The New Vic is only a 5 minute walk from Penrith’s main-line Railway station and less than 2 miles from the M6 motorway.
By Train:
- Main west coast line to Penrith
- Exit the station and cross the road toward the castle. Turn left
- Take your first right (Castlegate), the pub is 100 yards on your left going down the hill
By Car:
- M6 to Junction 40 (Penrith)
- Follow signs for Penrith town centre
- At town clock follow one way system to the left
- Proceed straight on, pub and car park located 300 yards on right hand side
